How do I unlock and start a vehicle?
Once you've reserved a vehicle through our mobile app, simply walk up to the car and tap 'Unlock' in the app. The vehicle will unlock automatically. The keys are inside the car - just press the start button to begin your journey. When you're finished, park in any designated area, lock the car through the app, and your rental ends automatically.
What happens if I have an accident or breakdown?
All our vehicles include comprehensive insurance and 24/7 roadside assistance. In case of an accident, contact emergency services first if needed, then call our support line immediately. For breakdowns, use the emergency button in the app or call our roadside assistance number. We'll arrange recovery and provide you with an alternative vehicle if your journey isn't complete.
Can I use QuartzHub Linea vehicles outside Rotterdam?
Yes, you can drive our vehicles anywhere within the Netherlands and to other EU countries where we operate. However, you must return the vehicle to a designated QuartzHub Linea location in Rotterdam unless you've arranged a one-way rental to another city in our network. Check our app for current coverage areas.
What are the requirements to join?
You must be at least 21 years old with a valid driving licence held for minimum 2 years. We accept EU driving licences and some international licences. You'll need to provide identification, complete our online verification process, and add a valid payment method. The entire sign-up process typically takes less than 24 hours.
How do I cancel my membership?
You can cancel your membership at any time through your account settings in the mobile app or by contacting customer support. There are no cancellation fees for monthly memberships. If you have an active rental, you'll need to complete it before cancellation takes effect. Any unused monthly membership fees are not refundable.
